Swatch: PrettynPolished Tart

First up, I spent the entire day waiting for PrettynPolished's new shop to be up. I wanted the Mathematical Collection! So when I go to sleep last night, I was feeling kind of reluctant: what if she puts the site up at like 2am, and by the time I woke up, there's nothing left? But lucky me, she puts the collection up in etsy less than an hour ago, and I woke up (believe me, I was checking my phone like a fanatic), and there it was! AWESOME!!! I got my collection in the end. Probably will be some time until I gorge on indie polishes again. This new buy has left my wallet bleeding.

Now, let's go back to the polish. Since I was in a PrettynPolished mood, I thought I'd show you tart. Tart is a pastel purple with different colors and sizes of glitter. Application is perfect as usual. It's like painting normal polish, the glitters doesn't affect the painting plus they came out of their own! You are able to do thin layers easily since the polishes does not have the think jelly like consistency that irritated me sometimes.

Please hop over to take a look at the Mathematical Collection! ChalkBoardNails and NailNetWork did a review on it and it had me drooling!!

Swatch: PrettynPolished Pheonix

Hi everyone! As you can see, I'm back! I have solved the photos problem temporarily (I simply went back to my old posts which have plenty of lousy photos and such, and deleted or took out some. Then I went to Picasa and deleted some from there as well. -Realized I should have gone to Picasa straight.- I enlarged the old photos as well. Some of the quality sucks.. =( I'll take them down when I have the time, and put up better swatches.) So, it's a temporary fix, and it will probably last me another 100 posts or such.

Back to the polish, because that's what you're here for! I've got another PrettynPolished swatch for you. This is Pheonix, a yellow, orange, red glitter which looks a lot like fire. It looks so cool! I layered this over OPI If You Moust You Moust. As I have said, PrettynPolished is a really good indie if you want to try. Her formulas are really awesome, and there's no need to go fishing!

So, how's your long weekend (BlackFriday, Small Business Sat, Cyber Mon)? I almost went crazy over the polishes, but I ended up choosing PrettynPolished to splurge. Alright.. I am waiting for her new collection, plus I bought several more when she had an awesome 25% off on Saturday! Too bad someone got to I Love Penguins before me. Her collection and new website is launching on Wed, and I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

Plus, Sonnetarium and Jindie Nails are coming to MeiMei's, so I am waiting for that as well.

Some kind of Wild, Some kind of Delicate

Hey all, I was trying to upload my photo when it told me that I've used up 100% of my free 1GB Picasa storage or something like that, so I'm going to have to think of another way to upload my photos. Anyone with ideas please please please let me know what to do about it, *desperate* I'm not very good with technical stuff. In the meantime, I shall consult my boyfriend.

There are more photos on this but I can't put it up, so here is one photo. I did a blue leopard design and swatch THEHUNGRYASIAN Belle. I have been going crazy over all white-based polishes.

Belle is very sheer on the first coat so I simply went over it with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Wall and layered Belle over it. I got the mini bottle, and it was sufficient, since I am layering Belle over white base.

I'm trying to get rid of the polishes in my swatch box so I'm going to go ahead and call this a Belle Swatch okay? Thanks guys. =)

The leopard print is done with TheFaceShop GR501, dotted with China Glaze Flyin' High, and China Glaze Liquid Leather.

That's all for today! I'm crazy busy! It might take some time before I fix the photo uploading issue so it might be a while before I post again. So sorry!!!

Studded Nails

I finally caved and got my studs from BornPrettyStore! I got 2mm gold and silver square studs and there were like a gazillion in each packets. Wow. And what's even better, you can reuse them! You literally get an endless supply for a ridiculously cheap price. It's definitely a bargain!

If you're still not persuaded on this, I've done a simple design to try out the studs (as well as breaking in a new bottle of polish).

This is 3 coats of OPI It's My Year. It's sheer and I can still see a bit of my nail line. The gold shimmer is gorgeous though!!

I do think I like studs more than rhinestones now. What do you think? Are you going to try them out?

Birthday Nails

I had trouble thinking of an approproiate design for my birthday (which is quite some time ago, I'm only posting this now) that this is the design that I ended up with on the actual day. It's a random design but it is just so CUTE.

I used OPI Do You Lilac It and China Glaze Liquid Leather. My left thumb looked wonky so please don't laugh. Lol.

That's all I have for today! Thanks for dropping by!!

Pretty&Polished: Jawbreaker

Sorry for not posting for so long.. I was swamped with stuff from work and school and plain laziness too. Not that my nails were neglected in anyway! Lol.

To apologize, I've got Jawbreaker from Pretty&Polished. It is MARVELOUS. I'm just saying if there's only one polish I can wear for the rest of my life, it might just be this polish. Actually, it is this polish. This is colorful, simple but complicated, and extremely easy to wear!

I wore 2 coats of Jawbreaker over 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow. It builds up nicely on its own, but I've yet to try it. I actually wore this for one entire week! And did nail art on it too. I'm abso-freaking-lutely in love.

Lemming other polishes with colorful glitters in white base? No more! I fully recommend Jawbreaker! Actually, I recommend everything from Pretty&Polished. I got 5 polishes, and 5 more coming!! Damn my stupid poor wallet. I could have gotten the whole shop!

More photos!!!

I'm drooling again. I've swatched the rest of the Pretty&Polished polishes as well, and they are really high quality. So worth the money and wait.

What are you still waiting for? You can buy her polishes on Etsy! She ships internationally too.

Thanks for dropping by!! ^^

Swatch: LushLacquer Snap Crackle Pop

In celebration of post-election in the US, I have here a swatch from LushLacquer Snap Crackle Pop. I think this polish is pretty awesome! It has red, white and blue glitters suspended in blue base. I layered 2 layers of Snap Crackle Pop over 2 layers of OPI Dating a Royal. The base of Snap Crackle Pop is slightly shimmery so it changed the color of Dating a Royal.

I like the red glitter against the white hex glitter! It's pretty! Next time I'm going to try to wear it on it's own.

Enjoy your day!! ^^

James Bond Inspired Nails

First of all, congratulations to President Obama on his re-election. I've been following up on the election carefully, since I believe that US election affects not only the citizens of USA but the international community as well. So.. HOORAY!! ^^ I did a mani for the election, and I'll post it up next. -Why oh why isn't our politics as exciting?-

I have here today, some James Bond Inspired Nails! The latest movie is screening now, but I have yet to see it. Gonna rectify that this Saturday! I shall leave you to enjoy the pics, because it's late and I've been extremely excited all day from the Election.

I used OPI Alpine Snow, China Glaze Liquid Leather, Essie Mojito Madness and Rainbow 11.

FYI, I celebrated Obama's victory properly. That means buying more polishes from PrettynPolished. Lol. It's extremely important to do our part in helping the US economy, you know. Haha. My last batch of polishes from PrettynPolished impressed me so much I've decided to buy again. ^^

Halloween Scratched Nails

My belated Halloween nails.. I know it's 5 days past Oct 31, but better late than never, I say.

This is done following a nail art tutorial from Neverland Nail Blog. I like her use of China Glaze I'm with a Lifeguard that I went out and bought more polishes from that collection! They're so shimmery and awesome! You saw my I'm with a Lifeguard halloween nails for the last post.. It's really pretty and not like the other neon polishes in the market.

Anyway, I apologize for the lousy photos. These nails creep me out after I did them that I took them off after I did my nails. Lol. I do have to say that it looks nicer with top coat on, these are taken without top coat.

I used Essie HotSpot as my red, and Elianto Eggshell as my nude.

Going to try this as well? It's really fun! Do be careful with scratching though, I scratched off my base polish for a few of my fingers as well.. >.<
